Japan to slap antidumping duties on potassium hydroxide imports from China, South Korea

Japan will impose antidumping duties on imports of potassium hydroxide from China and South Korea for fve years because the imports have been priced unfairly low, the Ministry of Finance (Tokyo) announced today. Japan will impose tarifs of 49.5% on sub- stances from South Korea and 73.7% on substances from China. The Japanese government launched an investigation following a request from a Japanese chemical industry body in April 2015.
