Beetles of Surrey: Second checklist update

摘要

This note updates the checklist of the Coleoptera of Surrey (VC 17) and first update (Denton, 2005; 2009). Twenty-three more species have been added to the list, two taxonomically problematic species finally ascribed to species, two species deleted, and modern records of a further twenty-eight species which had not been seen for many years have also been included. The latest list (excluding sub-fossils) runs to 3046 species, with over 78% of the historic list recorded since 1970. I have also included the correct maps for Cyphon laevipennis and Donacìa semicuprea for which the wrong maps were included in Denton (2008).
