CONTACT lenses that change their appearance according to person's blood-sugar level could provide diabetics with an easier and less painful mewthod of monitoring their disease.A team from the Centre for Fluorescence Spectroscopy at the University of Maryland in the US,led by associate director Chris Geddes,creacted the glucose detector by adding boronic acid to disposable contact lenses.
