Prime minister Seri Najib Tun Razak (pictured above) tabled Malaysia's tenth five-year plan before parliament in mid-June, outlining measures to increase GDP by 6% per year. Though the government's precise spending plans will not arrive until the end of August, initial details of measures to support key industries and fund major developments in infrastructure include plans to bolster key economic areas will imply support for oil and gas, and palm oil and related projects.
