ROBIN Rogers famously wears a red jacket whenever he appears in public.But in scientific circles he is more strongly associated with the colour green simply because his credentials in the field of green chemistry and green technology are impeccable.Since May 2007,he has been chair in green chemistry at Queen's University Belfast(QUB),Northern Ireland.He is also director of the Center for Green Manufacturing at the University of Alabama,Tuscaloosa,US,a position he has held since 1998.
