SINGAPORE'S government has underlined its commitment to green energy in the country by doubling its R&D funding for relevant projects to S350m (230m) over the next five years.Singapore's Research,Innovation and Enterprise Council (RIEC) recently approved the extra funding,which will go towards researching and test-bedding green power projects across a broad range of areas,including solar power,fuel cells,biofuels,wind power,energy efficiency and carbon trading.
