BAYER Cropscience is responsible for producing a number of agrochemical active ingredients and intermediates.The firm boasts an impressive safety record with no injuries to contractors,employees or visitors in nearly three years.Recently,a focus group called "SOFT" - Shaping Our Future Together - was implemented to improve team-working and increase operational efficiency.Additional changes came when the firm worked through a masterclass with PICME,which focused on two large production plants,EF and PZ.By doing so each plant was set targets of improving output and reducing product turnarounds.
