Swiss honours for diesel filter research

Actually,no.Award-winning research at Swiss materials science and technology institution Empa has studied the conditions under which catalytic particle filters can cause the formation of carcinogenic substances and suggested ways for developing improved filters.The researchers involved in the projects have just been awarded the Swiss Chemical Society's prestigious Sandmeyer Prize for applied chemistry.
