Paediatric refistrars' Perceptions of education and training opportunities

The Caiman Reform of Higher Specialist Medical Training in the 1990s brought British specialist training in Line with European medical directives.1 The two previous higher specialist training grades (registrar and senior registrar) were combined into a unified specialist registrar grade. The curriculum and minimum training period for each specialty was defined, and educational supervision was strengthened with induction for all posts, supervised learning and regular reviews of progress.
