A finding that medical errors made by health care teams affect doctors less than those they make individually needs further exploration, researchers have said. The New York team investigating attitudes towards clinical errors among medical students and junior doctors say the different perception of mistakes made by a team could indicate a lower acceptance or sense of responsibility that is at odds with best practice.
