The journal and 2011: a time for stocktaking.

At the beginning of our second 5-year term, the edito-rial leadership team met with a variety of consultants in August of 2010 at Journal headquarters in Northbrook, Illinois, for the express purpose of stocktaking. During a 2-day strategic planning meeting, we reappraised the present situation and position of the Journal as well as its short-term and long-term outlooks.
