摘要

Stereocontrol has been one of the major challenges in polymer synthesis because not only does tacticity arise from the relative stereochemistry of the neighboring asymmetric carbon centers, but also by manipulative control of the absolute configuration of the asymmetric centers. Thus, asymmetric polymerization of chiral polymers has been accomplished by either asymmetric synthesis polymerization starting from achiral monomers or enantiomer selective polymerization from a racemic mixture of chiral monomers.
