摘要

A microwave moisture measurement system is presented, which is suitable for spatially resolved measurements. The moisture meter only needs single-sided access to the material (e.g. masonry) in a borehole of 8 mm-12 mm diameter. In order tosuppress measurement errors due to multi-path propagation caused by dielectric inhomogeneities within the measurement object, an antenna with an electronically steerable beam is introduced, which allows averaging of the measurement signal over variouspropagation paths. Measurement examples are given which prove the viability of the method.
