ExxonMobil to sell BOPP business to Jindal Poly Films

Jindal Poly Films (JPFL; New Delhi), a fexible packaging frm belonging to the BC Jindal Group, on Friday notifed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it has entered into an agreement with ExxonMobil Chemical to acquire ExxonMobil's global biaxi- ally oriented polypropylene (BOPP) business. ExxonMobil is the global leading producer of BOPP and earlier this year it retained the services of JPMorgan to assist it with a possible sale of the business.
