Bayer CropScience Expands Collaboration with Australian Research Agency

Bayer CropScience says it is expanding its research collaboration with Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO; Clayton South, Australia), Australia's national research agency, to assess the sustainability of new generation crops. "We are convinced that innovative new generation crops can deliver greater yield/hectare while requiring less resources such as water and energy. This project will develop methodology to assess these benefits at a plant, field, country and global level," says Joachim Schneider, head of BioScience business unit of Bayer CropScience.
