Evonik to Build Specialty Surfactants Plant in China

Evonik will build an integrated production plant for organic specialty surfactants at its Shanghai site. Evonik says it will invest “in the upper double-digit million” euro range, and production is scheduled to begin in mid 2013. The specialty surfactants will be used primarily for cosmetics and laundry care products, as well as for industrial applications.
