摘要

Integrating the Expressive Arts into Counseling Practice presents various contemporary counseling [psychological] theories as underpinnings for a sound clinical practice that incorporates various creative arts techniques into treatment. In the preface the editors clearly state:The purpose of this book is to provide counselors and counseling students with a better understanding of the ways in which expressive arts techniques may be productively integrated into the practice of counseling within any of the chief theories [of counseling or psychology] that are taught and practiced (p. xxiii).
