Construction continues at Moomba The Moomba Compressor Station (MCS), a new-build, three-train compression facility for APA Group, is well into construction. Onsite works for the associated pressure reduction and heating station have also commenced. The facility is located at the Moomba end of the South West Queensland Pipeline (SWQP).The MCS is part of the APA Group's SWQP Eastern Haul Project, which will add bi-directional flow capabilities to the SWQP, allowing gas to be shipped in either Eastern Haul or Western Haul service. Eastern Haul capability will allow compression of gas for transport from the Cooper Basin region to customers in south-east Queensland. Engineering for the entire Moomba facility has been completed out of Momentum's Perth office.
