Vic Wood has finally decided to officially wind down and enjoy his retirement. He gave his last formal turning lessons in his Burwood (Melbourne, VIC) workshop on the 14-15 September this year and his last turning students were Richard Orr and MathewReynolds (Photo.1). The continued hustle and bustle of 6am starts and 6pm finishes are now simply too much for both Vic and Bev. A good many words have been written about Vic Wood over the last three and more decades, both here and overseas. Vic's own insights on woodturning have also appeared in print in the UK, the US as well as Australia. In all, they comprise more that 50 articles that have inspired woodturners the world over.
