Dow Chemical says its performance monomers business has increased the production capacity of 2-ethyl hexyl acrylate by 15% at its facility at Hahnville, LA, through debottlenecking. 2-ethyl hexyl acrylate is a key raw material used in the production of caulks, coatings, pressure-sensitive adhesives, leather finishing, and textile and paper coatings.
