Tessenderlo Kerley Boosts Ammonium Sulfate Capacity

Tessenderlo Kerley (TKI; Phoenix), the U.S.-based subsidiary of Tessenderlo Group, says it will build an ammonium thiosulfate unit at its Burley, ID chemical facility. The plant is expected to be on line within the next eighteen months, TKI says. The new plant "will address several recent short term market concerns in the ammonium thiosulfate sector and will allow us to address critical and costly logistical issues in markets in the Pacific Northwest and northern California," says Jordan Burns, CEO of TKI.
