FMC has named Paul Graves, formerly partner and managing director investment bank Goldman Sachs, CFO effective October 1. Graves succeeds Kim Foster, who will retire at the end of this year. Graves has been global head of Goldman Sachs' chemicals practice since 2005, and also headed the firm's agricultural practice. He has worked in Hong Kong since 2010, where he has also been responsible for natural resources in Asia, excluding Japan. Graves joined Goldman Sachs in 2000, and has been working in investment banking since 1997. "Paul brings significant finance experience to FMC, and is an excellent addition to our executive team," says FMC CEO Pierre Brondeau. "He is a dynamic, global leader who's worked in Europe, Asia, and the U.S., and brings to FMC tremendous experience in the chemicals and agriculture sectors, having served as the global head of those sectors in Goldman's investment banking division."
