SAI Global moves into the Mexican market

One of Mexico's leading tourist resorts has gained certification to the International Quality Standard, ISO 9001, during the APEC CEO Summit in Los Cabos, Mexico. The Melia Cabo Real was certified by SAI Global's Mexican ISO 9000 registration and training business, which it recently acquired from KPMG Cardenas Dosal, S.C. [KPMG]. The Australian Ambassador to Mexico, Mr Graeme Wilson, who presented the hotel with its certification, said: "International Standards play a critical role in underpinning global trade. Management systems such as ISO 9000 help create a level playing field for developing countries as they seek to access more mature markets."
