Recognising that water management is becoming a necessity for Australia's future, Standards Australia has established a new Committee WS-032 dedicated to water efficiency and water conservation. WS-032 has two projects in development which should be ready for publishing in the first quarter of 2003: A revision of AS/NZS 3662 Water supply-Water efficient mains pressure shower spray heads which will reduce the criteria for a water efficient shower from 15 L per minute to 12 L/min in 2003 and 9 L/min from 2004.
