Sud-Chemie Lithium Phosphate Expansions Proceed Despite Patent Infringement Ruling

Sud-Chemie subsidiary Phostech Lithium (St.-Bruno, Quebec) says a recent Canadian Federal Court of Appeal ruling that the company infringed on certain Valence Technology (Austin) patents related to lithium phosphates will not have a significant effect on operations and expansions plans. Phostech will continue expanding capacity for an advanced grade of lithium iron phosphate at St.-Bruno.
