Welding on the USS Missouri: a Hawaiian vacation turns into a chance for a Wisconsin couple to help keep an American symbol of freedom in tip-top shape

Avacation tout turned into a Renee' Karwowski, owners of A.R.K. Welding Inspection Services of Kansasville, Wis, when we switched from being tourists to workers aboard the USS Missouri. The famous battleship is permanently moored at the U.S. naval base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, just oceanside of the USS Arizona. Together, the two ships symbolize both the beginning and the end of WW II.
