Enterprise to Expand NGL Terminal on Houston Ship Channel

Enterprise Products Partners says it will expand its natural gas liquids (NGLs) import/export terminal on the Houston Ship Channel by the sec- ond half of 2012. The expansion is expected to nearly double the fully refrigerated export loading capacity for propane and other NGLs at the facility to more than 10,000 barrels per hour, while enhancing its ability to load multiple vessels simultaneously. "During the past two years, we have had record demand for our NGL export services driven by increased global demand for NGLs in substitution of more expensive crude oil derivatives," says Michael Creel, president and CEO of Enterprise.
