A love of the land

When Dick and Ann Cadzow took up the lease at Mount Riddock Station in 1986 parts of the property, some 200 kms nprth-east of Alice Springs, were a sea of moving sand. Simply no pasture at all. There was little choice but to shut up these areas and begin the back-breaking work of reclamation. Nearly 20 years later that work has won them a Rural Press Landcare Primary Producer Award in the Northern Territory Landcare Awards.
