H.B. Fuller says it has appointed Jim Owens president and CEO, succeedingMichele Volpi, effective immediately. Volpi will also step down from the board of directors. Volpi served as president and CEO for four years. Owens, 46, joined Fuller in 2008 as senior v.p./Americas. Prior to that, he worked at National Starch in a number of management positions.“H.B. Fuller has strong technology and market positions around the world combined with a solid financial base, an outstanding executive leadership team and thousands of remarkable employees,” Owens says. “Our focus going forward will be to execute against the strategies that we have articulated and take advantage of worldwide growth opportunities to deliver a profitable return for our shareholders.”
