Linde Agrees to Build Air Separation Plant in Kazakhstan

Linde has agreed to build a large-scale air sep- aration unit in Kazakhstan for ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel company. The air separa- tion plant will be constructed at ArcelorMittal's Temirtau, Kazakhstan steelworks and will have a combined capacity of 2,000 m.t./day on completion in mid-2012. It will be the first plant built and operated by Linde for a cus- tomer in Kazakhstan and involves an invest- ment of about ?95 million ($126.9 million).
