3M says it has agreed to acquire MTI PolyFab (Mississauga, ON), a producer of thermal and acoustic insulation for the aerospace industry, for about $24 million. "The addition of MTI PolyFab comple- ments and builds on our thermal acoustic vibration damping portfolio for aircraft manufacturers and will allow us to expand into adjacent aerospace segments," says Denise Rutherford.
