Air Products Reaches Agreement with FTC for Airgas Buy

Air Products says it has reached an agreement with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on the terms of a consent decree in connection with its proposed acquisition of Airgas. The consent decree would approve the transaction as long as Air Products divests assets related primarily to Airgas' liquid bulk and on-site supply of atmospheric gases, including production assets, within a prescribed period of time after completion of the deal.
