Praxair Inc has signed a long-term agreement for purchasing liquid helium from Polskie Gornictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (PGNiG), a player in the Polish natural gas market and the only producer of helium in Central Europe. PGNiG owns and operates a helium pro- duction facility in Poland that extracts and refnes helium from gas produced by its domestic natural gas felds.
