Nufarm reports lower profts

Agricultural chemical frm Nufarm (Melbourne) reports a 36.3% fall in full-year net profts for its fscal year ended 31 July 2016 compared with the previous fscal year, to A$27.5 million ($20.8 million). Full- year sales increased 2.0%, to A$2.79 billion. The lower profts was the result of one-of costs of A$81.4 million associated with restructuring initiatives and asset rationalization, Nufarm says. Underlying Ebit increased by 21.0% to A$286.6 million.
