APIC 2011: Petchem Demand Stays Strong; China Plans Huge Ethylene Build-up

Demand for petrochemicals will continue to be strong in the next few years, delegates at this year's Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference (APIC), currently taking place in Fukuoka, Japan, were told today. The conference kicked off with several marketing seminars examining the state of the global petrochemical industry. Gary Adams, president of CMAI (Houston) told delegates that "good times are here to stay, if you have the right feedstock."
