Wilmar Builds Natural Alcohols Plant at Huntsman's Rotterdam Site

Huntsman Corp. and Wilmar International (Singapore) have announced plans for a natural alcohols plant at Huntsman's Rozenburg site in Rotterdam. Wilmar will own and operate the plant and supply natural alcohols to Huntsman, under the terms of a memorandum of understanding signed by the partners. It is scheduled onstream by 2013. The project is subject to the receipt of required permits as well as regulatory approvals. Wilmar is one of Asia's leading agri-commodities companies and one of the largest oleochemicals businesses worldwide.
