Dow and Aksa to Form Carbon Fiber and Derivatives Joint Venture

Dow Chemical says its Dow Europe subsidiary and Aksa Akrilik Kimya Sanayii (Istanbul) have signed a memorandum of understanding to form a joint venture to manufacture and globally commercialize carbon fiber and derivatives. Both companies will work together to explore opportunities to create fully-integrated production facilities for the manufacture and global supply of carbon fibers and derivatives.
