China Reviews Antidumping Measures on Epichlorohydrin from Japan, Korea, Russia, and U.S.

The Ministry of Commerce (Mofcom; Beijing) says it will today begin a final review of antidumping measures on epichlorohydrin (ECH) imported from Japan, Korea, Russia and the U.S. China imposed antidumping duties of upto 71.5% on ECH from the four countries for five years starting June 28, 2006. The final review has been launched in response to applications from Chinese ECH manufacturers. The review, which will be completed in one year, will examine whether dumping will continue and damage the Chinese industry if the antidumping measures are terminated, Mofcom says.
