Asahi Glass and JMTC link in bioorganic acid joint venture

Asahi Glass and Japan Material Technologies Corp. (JMTC; Tokyo) on Tuesday announced the establishment of a joint venture company, JMTC Enzyme, which aims to commercialize biochemical technologies that produce organic acids, such as lactic acid, from biomass. JMTC has 92% in the new company and Asahi Glass 8%.
