Praxair Starts Up Air Separation Plant in Mexico

Praxair says its Praxair Mexico subsidiary has started up a new air separation unit with capacity of 400 m.t./day and has also increased its liquid storage capacity in the San Nicolas Industrial Complex at Monterrey, Mexico. The new facility is part of the San Nicolas Complex where Praxair already operates an air separation unit and a carbon dioxide plant. The additional production and storage capacity allows Praxair to enhance its supply system to meet the growing demand from current customers as well as to support future growth in this important industrial region of Mexico, Praxair says.
