Showa Denko K.K., JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corp. (Tokyo), and LyondellBasell Industries NV have reached a final agreement under which Showa Denko and JX Nippon will purchase LyondellBasell’s stake in their SunAllomer Ltd. (Tokyo) polypropylene (PP) joint venture (JV). SDK Sunrise Investment currently owns a 50% stake in SunAllomer, and LyondellBasell owns the remaining 50%. Showa Denko has a 65% stake in SDK Sunrise Investment, and JX Nippon holds 35%.
