Huntsman sells European surfactants business to Innospec

Huntsman Corporation today announced that Innospec Inc. has agreed to acquire Huntsman’s European surfactants business. On a proforma basis the business has a full-year outlook to generate $24 million in Ebitda. The purchase price is expected to be $200 million with an enterprise value of $225 million, as Huntsman will retain related accounts receivable and trade payables. Closing is expected by the end of the fourth quarter of 2016, and is subject to customary conditions, including the representative bodies consultation processes.
