Inhofe, Boxer agreement clears path to TSCA reform

Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK), chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee (EPW), and Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA), EPW ranking member, have reached agreement on Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) bill clearing a path to passage of the legislation. The support of Boxer, who has held up consideration of the bill, removes one of the fnal roadblocks to long-awaited overhaul of US chemical management policy.
