Hefty increases for European April benzene, styrene, toluene contracts

Europe's April benzene contract price has been agreed on at $698/m.t. (?616) cif Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA), an increase of $122/m.t. (?93) from the March settlement. Reports of another deal at $692/m.t. were heard in the market but this price has not been followed by other players. Taking into account the continuous increase in benzene spot prices throughout March, a hefty hike had been expected for the April benzene contract price.
