摘要

An asymmetric synthesis of protected #beta#-substituted and #beta#,#beta#-disubstituted #beta#-amino, acids, which carry a hydorxyalkyl side chain, from sulfonimidoyl functionalized homoallylic alcohols is described. The method allows for an asymmetric synthesis of #gamma#-amino alcohols as well.
