Increasing demands for torque measurement accuracy and repeatability, driven by more stringent emissions regulations, lead to improved engine testing and more sophisticated test bed systems. D2T already offers AC dynamometers for high dynamic tests, and because not every test require negative torque operation of the dynamometer, D2T has decided to develop a new generation of eddy current (EC) dynamometers.
