Welcome to the Pediatric Psychopharmacology issue of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinics of North America. It has been 6 years since the last review and in that time there have been significant advances in the field. While there is clearly much more to be learned in this arena, in this issue we collect from the wisdom of leading researchers in the field to benefit clinicians and academicians alike in their quest to provide better and safer interventions for youth with psychiatric illnesses.
