EuroChem provides update on Louisiana fertilizer project

EuroChem (Zug, Switzerland), one of the world’s leading producers of fertilizers, says it remains on track with a fertilizer project it is planning in Louisiana. The company announced in July 2013 plans to construct a $1.50-billion, world-scale ammonia and urea manufacturing complex in Louisiana and said at the time that it planned to finalize a decision on the parameters and the exact location in Louisiana within 2014. "We remain in line with our original schedule, which has us starting in 2019," a EuroChem spokesperson tells CW.
