Kuraray to expand ethylene vinyl alcohol capacity in Belgium

Kuraray has announced that it will expand capacity for ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) resin at the manufacturing site of the com- pany’s wholly owned subsidiaries head- quartered at Antwerp. Kuraray sells EVOH resin under the Eval brand name. Kuraray says that it will invest about ￥8.00 billion ($66.2 million) to expand EVOH capacity at Antwerp by 11,000 m.t./year.
