Shell declares force majeure on base chemicals at Singapore site

Shell Chemicals has confirmed that it has declared force majeure ‘on its base chemical products customers’ with effect from 1 December because of a technical issue with the ethylene complex at the company's Pulau Bukom, Singapore, manufacturing site. ‘Our manufacturing and supply chain teams are working to resume normal operations and supply as soon as possible so as to minimize the potential impact on our customers,’ the company says.
